 This service club gave 59 books, plus a $25 gift certificate to Ravenous Reader. Here are some of the books: 2 copies, We are the Ship, 4 copies, Dancing in the Wings, 3 copies, Circle Unbroken, 8 copies, Clean Your Room, Harvey Moon, 2 copies, I Don't Want to Read, 2 copies, Double Dutch, 2 copies The Snowy Day, 2 copies, Bud, Not Buddy, 2 Eric Carle board books, 12 4th grade paperbacks, 8 biographies, 11 picture books, and several junior hardbacks. She donated $100 via PayPal. Mrs. Livingston is going to use this money to buy books for the children to read over the summer when school closes at the end of the year. Thank you very much.
Many people got in touch to see what other ways they could help, and to help the school directly. The school has more needs than just this. We hope there will be a final newspaper story about the distribution of the books, and the other needs and projects going on. There are always ways you can help the school any time of year.

Buist had a good basketball season. Now that it is over I am behind on acknowledgments and will try to catch that up, and will post photos when the books are distributed to the children the first week in March. We think we have nearly 1,000 books, so the children will get books now, and will get books again to take home for summer reading.  | AuthorI'm Tyre Moore, and this is my IB project for Buist Academy.
