Mom
Mom's first favorite book was Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, Disney Little Golden Books edition. She knew all the words before she could read. She made my grandmother read it over and over and over again. Mom's in law school and she reads all day long.
Dad
Honestly, Dad doesn't read a lot of books. But he reads the paper every single morning, and he reads his Blackberry all day long. And he's really good at getting people to work together. He's a coach for James Island Rec League.
Jennifer

Doret Canton, a/k/a The Happy Nappy Bookseller, is an African-American bookseller in Atlanta, Georgia.
